What Our Graduates Say

I am Erica Lucia Wyce, a 2015 Graduate from the Visual Merchandising Arts Program at Seneca College. This program was excellent and taught me a wide variety of skills from drawing, lighting, mannequin dressing, colour co-ordination, and so much more. All the professors that teach the program are incredibly knowledgeable; they have been in this industry for many years and know firsthand. I like how we got to have field placement, to learn how it would be like in the "real world", you got to use all of the skills you learned in school and put it to work. I am now a Visual Presentation Associate at Harry Rosen Bloor Street Yorkville, I love my job and the best part is that I get to use what the program gave me to expand my knowledge.

Thank you,

Erica Wyce
Visual Merchandising Arts Graduate

I attended the Visual Merchandising program at Seneca College from Fall 2013 to Spring 2015. Since the very beginning I received unconditional support from the teachers to peruse my career. This program provided the knowledge and tools I needed to shape me into the professional I am today.  The VMA faculty is very well connected with the industry, allowing the students to demonstrate and practice all that they have learned during school.  I did my internship at Holt Renfrew where I was hired on permanently after graduation. I continue to put Into practice the skills that I learned in the program. I am a Senior member of the Styling team and I am excited to keep growing in the Visual Merchandising Industry. I am also honored to say that I am part of the VMA Program Advisory Committee and I enjoy supporting the faculty when needed. I look forward to seeing what the future brings for the talented graduates of this program.

Luciana Govea

As a graduate of the Seneca College's Visual Merchandising Arts program, I have acquired a strong, knowledge base and network within the industry. The support from the college while in the program and post graduation far exceeded my expectations.  I currently own my own business and have the pleasure to work with a variety of skilled and talented people: Visual Merchandisers, Event Planners, Corporate entities, Film and TV and Freelance Artists. I would highly recommend this program to those seeking a career in the Visual Display field.

The Visual Merchandising Arts Program at Seneca College has laid a firm foundation enabling me to build on my experiences and to refine my skills with confidence. As a Visual Technician at Holt Renfrew and Visual Merchandiser for Vacantly (where we successfully produced the first ever Pop Up shop for Universal Music Canada), I wouldn't be here today without the valuable skills and field placement connections Seneca College provided me with. The broad range of courses and the encouragement of my professors allowed me to discover my passions and future career aspirations. Seneca College is my stepping stone to endless opportunities that I am currently and have yet to explore!
