Pathways to a Degree

Seneca is proud that it plays a leadership role in student mobility in the postsecondary system through our many pathways to and from universities and colleges. We will continue to grow those pathways, creating more links to top-tier universities and collaborating on joint programs, whether online or at one of Seneca’s campuses.

Our Degree and Credit Transfer Office provides a number of services to help students to continue their education at Seneca or other institutions, including research and application assistance, information sessions, advisement appointments and on-campus events.

These pathways can allow students to earn a degree in less time because their Seneca credits will be recognized when they transfer to a Seneca degree program or to a partner institution.

After graduating from Seneca, Julian took advantage of a transfer agreement the College has with Griffith University in Australia.

We also have an innovative agreement with the University of Toronto that allows students in our two-year Liberal Arts program to enter the Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) program at the U of T’s Woodsworth College and complete a degree within two years. Similar agreements also exist with Trent and York universities.

Sarah and Rohan talk about graduating from Seneca and transferring to university.

Liberal Arts graduate Lucelle talks about her time at the College and how the program’s well rounded curriculum prepared her for university.
